Image Surface Performance Factors

There are very few well-defined metrics for image surface performance. The most widely mentioned is screen gain, which is right up there with PMPO power outputs for accurate reporting!

It is understandable that when consumers judge your product on this single value, it is tempting to overstate it. This temptation has caused a bit of a "gain war," with manufacturers quoting ever more outlandish gain numbers. This leads to disappointment for the consumer later when the expected brightness does not happen.

We have attempted to present a more relevant data set for our image surfaces real-world performance.
